printer2 That's sorta what its looking like, but knowing Nexon, it will probs be more balanced, Tanks/dealers will beable to deal decent dmg and dps types won't be sitting ducks.

PkBlast Heck yeah man! I love old maple! haha And I think, at least in beta, all the weapons were able to be equipped by everyone, but ya just couldn't use skills if you didn't have the right weapon equipped.

Voxov Wizard has a lightning whip, but they changed it so that it now has a long cooldown. In any case, whip animations and attack calculations are already in the game, so you'll definitely see more. there

Voxov yeah, very likely for GMS2 alpha or even closed beta late this year. I'd guess about a year from now (March-May 2016) for open beta. Localization aside, it does make sense to stagger releases though,
