This new gaming generation is traveling to the future!, not really, virtual reality is already among us. Since MapleStory 2 is coming in 3D would you want to be able to use something like Oculus, a compatibility with such devices in the future? Virtual Reality.... i wonder if devs are thinking about this, with so excellent animations, i wonder if the game itself is focusing in future gaming. Honestly i have never used Oculus, but still this may become the future gaming and devs should be thinking about this. Of course it may not be a good idea for many of us, since keyboard + mouse might not be a good combination with oculus, but it is possible. although may take time to get used to it.

doubt it, maple story is a 3rd person game, playing it in first person is just too much of a disadvantage. Only a game like an FPS or some select MMOS that are in first person would it become worth investing in VR.

@senpaishotgg Dude chillax, everybody on this forum has a nice and calm vibe. Ppl feel free to ask whatever they want. Nobody asked you to read this thread. If you think it's idiotic just leave it alone. Don ruin what we have here. Allright?

It would be really interesting if Nexon made a MS3 to go that route, but it sounds very difficult to create and I am not too sure how it'll end up. I'm kinda on the border of agreeing or not

I don't even consider what we're at "Virtual Reality" it's more of a simulator than anything. And doing something like Maplestory 2 on Oculus would be terrible, it'd be just playing with a Kinnect that actually works, which isn't that fun. I'm not ganna feel like I'm in the game, I'm just ganna get tired from having to swing my arms like crazy, if I even get to do that. I mean, reading your post, do you even know how Oculus works? It's not ganna feel like virtual reality when I'm still using a controller and sitting in a chair, and conscious about it, while supposedly emerged in a virtual reality.

@Demonlord This.

I think that some games would work well with a virtual reality touch. Others, I'd prefer to stay the way they are... Sometimes I just want to sit down and lazily grind away.

I agree that it would be more if a "This is cool!" feature than something I'd use regularly.

@Demonlord okey, Yeah i do know, Virtual Reality is more of a whole body use, but Oculus Rift, the headset only is within the area of virtual reality since you use your head to move the direction you're looking at, and stuff like that. But my post is more direct only to the Oculus headset only, since as you said, swinging my arms would eventually get tired and boring maybe. sorry i didn't specified. But the headset is not only to "feel like virtual reality", but an alternative to have your head an inch away from your display and experience something new. Or at least i see it that way.

Really? Eh... seems really trippy, besides, the game's in an Isometric view, I don't think much of anything else could look better..

Maple 2 on Wii would be awesome.. I hope they have Monster Farm as well and integrate it to my cell phone so that I can interact with my guild members etc. through my cell. MS2 has so much potential it's crazy!
