Q

Hello guys. For the past 1~2 weeks, I've been unable to open and view most comments in threads. More specifically, when I open a thread, I only see the first comment and can't scroll any lower, even if there are more than 1 post. I also can't add a comment because of this. Has anyone else had/resolved this issue? I probably won't be able to read the responses, to be honest, since I can only read the first one.. I've tried relogging/submitted a ticket , but nothing helped so far. Thank you

Maplestory 2 obviously isn't like Maplestory at all, but (depending on the person) this could be a good or bad thing. How many of you guys like all this change, and how many of you want it to be closer to the original Maple? In my opinion i like the new design and features, it spices up the gameplay and is very refreshing, yet at the same time familiar. Share your opinions below~!

I'm really exciting for the new changes and honestly, I think it's mainly because it's 3D but still maplestory. I know that some of you are like "Well duh... that's the point!" but they're doing such a great job staying true to the roots of MS1 while bringing in their own sense of gameplay. I'm really excited for bringing back the sense of community in MS2 because that was why I played the first game. Talking to other people wherever they may live while waiting to do PQs or on the boat to Ludi, you could meet a lot of people and then train and play the game with them! That's what I want to keep haha But yes, I'm very much looking forward to all the changes especially how quests and boss fights seem important. I hope leveling isn't too easy though... I liked pre BB leveling because you could really see growth in your character instead of just getting a character to second job advancement in a few hours... You don't become attached to that character, but when you've spent hours questing and grinding on a character, you gain a connection and I miss that in old maple!

And with that... I am finished haha

^ This exactly.
I am really excited for all the new things, but at the same time, I also really like how they used so much from the original. You say that Maplestory 2 isn't like the original at all, but I would have to disagree. If you ask me, I think Maplestory 2 is balanced when it comes to having new content, and having content from the original, and I don't know about everyone else, but that's why I'm so hyped for it.

I'm also very excited, as the old days of maple were great, the community was loving and leveling was not as easy, not even in the slightest. Its looking bright and i'm also very very excited for it.

For a while on Maple1, I would hop to new servers whenever they came out because I love a fresh, growing community. It was where I had my most fun. I had an AMAZING time with my guild. Something about everyone starting off on equal grounds (basically the floor, since we all had 0 meso) makes me have a great time.

I am actually pretty darn excited for Maple2. It's going to be fantastic because it will have monsters, skills and areas that we all know and love, but the gameplay will be brand new. I'm sure nearly everyone that enjoyed Maple 1 will find themselves having a blast on Maple 2. The only criticisms I've been hearing often are that it 'looks too childish' or 'it's a ripoff of minecraft with maps being blocks.' Honestly, Maple 1 was just as 'childish,' your head was half the size of your body and you beat the crap out of slimes in order to get a Haircut from Klaudia (and more likely then not, regret it.)

I like the idea of almost everyone starting in the same place, no one has an advantage, no one is rich. Of course, that's gonna change fast, but i love fresh starts, thats why i have about 10 character spots on MS1 lol.

@Terminus It may change fast, but what I like about MS2 is that everyone has the chance to make a lot of mesos through creating their own content and selling it to the rest of us maplers! You can make some serious cash through the system in place and I'm excited to see some new and exciting Player Made Content!

@PkBlast Yeah, that is definitely one of the things i'm most hyped about in MS2, I think it's going to be really awesome how we can create and customize so many things, like houses for example. The appeal of video games, for me at least, is that I can do so much that I can't do in real life, and with all this customization, it'll be like I'm living two different lives.

@ching I'm extremely excited to see how housing works exactly and how it can all tie in with making your character stronger with each trophy you get from boss fights! Everything about MS2 has me hyped! haha
