Hi all, hope you're well.

I've been informed that custom mods will be sellable in-game. Given such a feature, it's clear that watermarks are critical to protecting people's artwork. However, I see that the watermarks used by custom modders are quite inconsistent and feel we should fix that.

To those of you that do custom mods or intend to get into it - would you be open to letting us watermark your images with a MS2.tv watermark instead of doing your own? It would be a sufficiently opaque text mark placed on top of each custom mod. The benefit is ours requires no extra work from you (watermarking would happen when you upload a non-watermarked mod to the site) and all mods would be watermarked consistently. Let me know what you think.

I used to think that Pirates had the lowest population in MapleStory, but I think that (dis)honor perhaps goes to Archers? Which is odd because they look incredibly powerful. Maybe I'll try Archer on my first go in MapleStory2!

Of course I'm going with the archer class first! They're the best class!

I am just really bummed out that they haven't announced a Crossbowman.

I might! It depends on the controls of the game. If for some reason I need to use a mouse to aim before I can shoot, I may avoid this class (I'm not great with aiming and FPS-style). I love that Gunslinger though... ugh. Idk.

Archer usually seems to be the easiest class to play in most games.
Also Archer FTW!

Archers were always my first choice! So definitely yes!

I'll most definitely be a Gunslinger because of the storyline.

I love how they will be part of a secret organization inside Kerning City.

Their storyline will be one of the better ones as they will play a large role at being powerful and require skill to be able to play.

I have a feeling they will be undervalued and overpowered as not many people will use them.

They will be a mid-ranged asset to any team.

I feel regular Archers/Rangers will be the majority of people playing this class. It's always a good thing to be different.

I'll go with a heavy gunner as well, I loved cannoneers in ms1 so this seems fitting as a first class here c:

I will probably not go archer this time because I don't think Nexon likes archers. They always get shafted. I don't want a crossbowman or a pirate class. I don't think either are classes you just have a ranger who uses a bow or a crossbow. As a pirate you could wield a sword or use a cannon, so that's warrior and archer classes. Pirate is a style not a class in my opinion.

I will play with heavy gunner and berserker because everyone likes big guns and swords, right? Especially if they are carried by cute, little chibi character

Definitely going to be playing as an Archer first. They are my absolute favorite class.

I have a 40 pound recurve bow in real life.
In every RPG ever where a bowman or archer is an option; I always go for the archer.
In every strategy game; I play it with archers as my only units. If the game is too hard to play with only archers; I quit.

The reason for all these facts is BECAUSE of MapleStory. I started playing the game in year one; and I made a warrior, a mage, and a bowman. I levelled them all up pretty evenly, but I quickly noticed that bowmen were both very unpopular to play, and also to party with. Bowmen were mocked for their low HP and survivability, lack of mobility whilst attacking, and generally low damage. All these things made me want to play my bowman more and more. I wanted to root for the underdog and support the outcast.

Once the third job advancement came around, I realised just how right I was. There were very few bowmen above level 70 at that point in the game, and when I saw the skills, I was ecstatic! Strafe shot four arrows like a gattling gun, Arrow Rain pummeled enemies with arrows, Inferno set the landscape on fire, and I could summon a hawk while all this was going on.

I instantly fell in love with my bowman. I knew I could never go back to my I/L Wizard or my BW Page. My Ranger was going all the way to 200. I still struggled with comparably low damage and almost no HP, but I didn't care. In a game where Dragon Knights and Priests reigned supreme, and Hermits could ks me out of any map, I stuck to my bowman pride and persevered all the way to the addition of the fourth job advancement.

When I finally finished the quests and started unlocking my Bowmaster skills and adding points to them, my jaw was constantly hitting the floor. Hurricane blew my mind. I started shooting, and then I just held the skill button down in the middle of Leafre until my MP ran out, barely able to physically contain my excitement.

The first time I summoned Phoenix; I giggled like a little girl. I went straight to Henesys Hunting Ground and just sat on a hay bale while my Phoenix destroyed green mushrooms to the sheer disbelief of the passing newbs.

When I found out how high Sharp Eyes would take my critical rate; I just told everybody I ever bumped into that week. I would just tell people I walked past: "Hey, guess how high my critical chance is."

After playing on and off through studying and work and so many other things, stopping my training for years at a time; last week I got my Bowmaster to level 200. Almost ten years in the making but I finally did it. I can honestly say that MapleStory is the reason why I am so obsessed with archery, and why I will play a bowman in every RPG to come.

Wow this is amazing.. I'm so glad you shared this, cuz' now I'm considering making an archer as well I'm going wizard, but I'm gonna make an archer as well too. I love how devoted you are to them ^_^ I feel the same way with Angelic Buster, it's low defense and all.. But I stick to having her as my main in MS1

Gunner looks a bulky and slow, I'm always down for fast attacks, even if theyre lower in damage.

I'm not a very big fan of the other classes in this game, but the archer is awesome in most games, and so I am probably going with the archer.
