Personally, I started with a Thief pretty early on, although admittedly I was a Warrior / Crusader as well. What will you be choosing as your first MS2 player?

The thief class is alright. Not my first pick though. I hope they have a similar skill to "Dark Sight"

Warrior! After seeing that berserker picture gawd~

Not me, any one remember how expensive they were in MS1? f3....but they were the coolest and hermit's were the strongest for a looong time

I've always enjoyed the Thief class, but I'd love to see their skillset first. If they've got a positioning ability so I can stay away from mobs, as they will be squishy, I would love to play a Thief.

l've always loved mages, so l'll be starting with a Mage class again!

I'll probably start out as a thief in MS2~ My first chara in MS1 was a thief too. I chose the NL route and still have it as a main. Looking forward to seeing how different or similar the skills/play-style will be. *-*

Definitely a Thief. Ar any rate I won't be playing anything ranged. For some reason ranged characters in games don't work out for me (even in Unreal Tournament I mostly use short-ranged guns).

@Beast: A class is only expensive if you want to excell in power. If you don't care for that, a Shadower or NL is just as cheap as any other class. XD That said I hope things'll be a little more balanced out in this game than in the original. I'm pleased with my Shadower's range, but I have to admit it's three or four times lower than what appears to be average.

I'm Definitely choosing a Thief because i love attacking fast and hitting good damage. The Theif class was my first class and its my favorite. I hope they have Dual Blade XP

Throwing stars works quite well in a 2D environment, I'm not sure how effective it will be in ms2 though (If stars are even used). I'll have to wait for some gameplay before I decide, but I'll most likely choose a thief and a beginner.

@Night: I cannot argue with that logic.

I remember back in the good ol' days of Maple, the thief equipment all looked so cool!

I am definitely choosing and maining a thief, first class and current main class in this MS1, and definitely a bandit at that. I just hope they don't become over powered and over priced like currently Maplestory. I don't even mind if they're the weakest, I just hope they're cheap/affordable.

I'm choosing either thief or heavy gunner

Seeing the new Assassin's gameplay, I kinda wanna try assassin's as my first class, hope they show some thief gameplay soon. This speedy assassin is what I like.

I'll be starting out as a Rogue, sub-class assassin. Judging from the little bit of gameplay video Nexon released, the assassin has a dash, possibly applying damage and cc, a piercing skillshot (the shuriken), an active invisibility skill, and also and AOE centered on him that deals damage and knocks back enemies around him. However, on the HUD, there were six hotkeys available for skills, there there must be at least two more skills. Anyway, really love the art on him, so there's a big bonus.

I am definitely choosing thief. I think it's the fastest class. If there are guilds in maplestory 2 then I'd still go for thief but try and (if I can) focus on levelling my strength up most of all.

I'm wanting to make a bandit, because that's my main in MS. I might start off as a Warrior, however. And let's not forget the "noob" class! Looks OP!
